Job Description

Your work as a warehouse worker/technician within delivery at the Assistive Technology Center focuses on patient safety and excellent service. You contribute your teamwork skills and technical expertise to provide our customers with assistive devices.

In this ad, we are looking for employees for three different departments at the Assistive Technology Center:

  • Reconditioning, meaning restoring assistive devices for reuse.
  • Warehouse management, inventory administration, and picking assistive devices.
  • Delivery and collection of assistive devices from customers and patients' homes.

The distribution to the different departments is based on your skills and experiences. You will work both independently and with colleagues to solve the tasks at hand each day.

To provide excellent service in the technician role, you need to:

  • have a good attitude and be service-oriented
  • work well with others
  • enjoy adapting to changing situations
  • be responsible and meticulous to ensure quality and high safety standards

We are looking for someone with a completed technical high school education or an ongoing high school education in their final year. You need to be at least 18 years old to work with us. Since you will have many contacts in your work, it is important that you can communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. You have good computer skills and are accustomed to working with various IT systems. Furthermore, you possess good physical ability and ergonomic work habits as you will be walking and standing for large parts of your workday and may lift heavy items. You have a B driver's license and good driving experience.

Experience with assistive devices or the business system Sesam is an advantage.

About the Assistive Technology Center

The Assistive Technology Center is part of the Supply Management Administration within the Västra Götaland Region and serves as a competence and logistics center for the 49 municipalities, as well as the Västra Götaland Region's own operations. We are located in Borås, Mölndal, Skövde, and Uddevalla.

Our service offerings are based on the needs of healthcare providers for both in-depth knowledge in the field of assistive technology and various service offerings to support the healthcare chain. We handle purchasing, inventory management, distribution, as well as service and maintenance of assistive devices. We also assist prescribers with, among other things, assistive device advice, individual fittings, adaptations/special adaptations, as well as study visits and training.

We offer you a developing workplace where you will receive orientation, training, and good employment conditions. As part of our team, you as an employee lay the foundation for a functioning healthcare system.

Miscellaneous

We handle applications on an ongoing basis and will also conduct shorter interviews via Teams before final interviews. Questions about the position are handled by Marcus Sjöquist, unit manager.
